Your predictions may yet prove correct. As you say, it is only a month past the election. If the economy continues to suck along, then the country may just be ready for a real conservative by 2016, possibly. I predict that they will never be ready for a Herman Cain, Rick Perry, or Michelle Bachmann. Maybe for a Rick Santorum, but I doubt it. The real test will be fiscal conservatism, not so called "social" conservatism. Perhaps a younger and more charismatic Ron Paul will be a good choice.
