Obama vows to send 'clear message' to Putin, warns Trump
Washington (AFP) - President Barack Obama vowed to send a "clear message" to Russia for trying to sway the US election, while calling on Donald Trump and Republicans to put national security before politics.
But Putin isn't likely to worry much about Obama's promises, as Obama is only in power for another month or so anyway, and..
"Over a third of Republican voters approve of Vladimir Putin," Obama said citing a recent poll. "

In the upside down world of 2016, the winner of the election said that the election was rigged, the loser says it wasn't, but was influenced by Russia, the conservatives seem to be on the side of Russia and supporters of an authoritarian dictator.
"Ronald Reagan would roll over in his grave.
Indeed. Didn't I just feel a small earthquake?

Putin's response 'if you have proof, show it otherwise shut up'.

Not quite how the FBI put it but they saw no proof in what the CIA presented either.

So why is the lame duck president going to so much trouble to make it seem like hrc didn't piss away 1.2 billion of someone else's dollars only to put together such a colossal failure of a campaign?

Why does he care ?

He doesn't care because he knows fools like you don't read the news unless some right wing fake paper gives it to you:

What exactly would Obama do? He hired a fairly bad company to do the Obamacare website. Do you think he has any hacker friends? I don't think Kevin Mitnick is available.

Considering the Russian economy he could impose stricter sanctions.

We seem to be seeing a new breed of conservative, not one that supports limited government, not one that would have elected Reagan, the diametric opposite of a Goldwater conservative, but one that seems to want to control lives. It's a scary development it seems to me,

IMO, the country never has been "conservative" in the view many on the right believe it was. It was established to be a "Classical Liberal" style of society.

If you believe the Declaration of Independence where it says that the purpose of government is to protect our liberties, then the libertarian philosophy is the only one that is truly American.

Yet we have self described conservatives who admire the likes of Vladimir Putin and seem to think we'd be better off with the sort of extreme authoritarianism that exists in Russia.

As one watches what happens in politics, or even in society, the loss of the ability to rationally exercise a thought process is devolving. This the likes of Trump with his "style without substance" campaign was able to attract millions who need to be told how to live, and have their morality defined by one who has none. Dictators such as Castro, Hitler, Stalin, or even back to the days the "Olde English" Kings, or Caesar, were able to rule the "unenlightened" masses. The right wing blames it on the left yet the right does nothing to change it since they too are benefiting from it politically.

And those who are capable of critical thinking, or independent thought, just shakes their heads in wonderment.

This isn't fake news!!
NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—In what Donald Trump’s transition-team members are calling a further example of international cooperation, Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to receive daily U.S. intelligence briefings in the place of the President-elect.

Trump, who had earlier decided that he did not need the briefings and had assigned Vice-President-elect Mike Pence to receive them, said on Tuesday that Putin was a “much better choice.”

“No offense to Mike, but Vladimir Putin is just a terrific, terrific guy to do this,” he said. “He knows all the players.”

“He’s just terrific,” he said. Trump also touted his deal-making prowess in securing the Russian President’s services. “The American people are getting an amazing deal here,” he said. “Putin is doing this totally for free.”
