I fear that a large majority of us want it gone but that the pubs merely want something more advantageous to them to take its place. Would Mitt really scrap it or would be just start tweaking it. Imagine what a catastrophe it would be if it does not get repealed but congress just spends the next 40 years adding, removing, and altering parts. The only thing different would be that in some years dems would be in control and in some years pubs would be in control. Social security has not gotten any better because sometimes pubs are in control. The same is true of every other socialists boondoggle. Once the camels nose is under the tent it really does not matter who is inside the tent.
