Do you really take her resignation at face value? Either way, she should know that American style representative democracy works this way. If she cant play with the grown ups, your right she might want to stay out of it. But her quitting as she did right in the middle of her terms, makes her of virtually zero influence on policy matters that are still important, including the appointment of a number of judges, zero legislative agenda, a natgas pipeline in limbo...
I find it mildly amusing that you think she should be advocating for disabled kids, when before she had one of her own, she showed very little interest in the issue, much less ensuring the necessary funding and support is in place. She gave all those opportunities up when she quit.
Also, as I have said before, if she wants her family left out of the debate, she really ought to not make them apart of her public persona. She used Trig as a tool to make some absurdly off base comments.
Well it is two edged, she(or any AK Gov) is allowed to use personal email for some state business, but she is not allowed to delete those that contain state business. That is the next question. But look for the Legs to close this off ASAP.
