1. New York (CNN) New York prosecutors on Thursday charged the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, with a 15-year alleged tax scheme that marked the first criminal case against the former President's namesake company.
An indictment unsealed Thursday by the Manhattan district attorney's office charged the company and an entity called Trump Payroll Corporation with 10 counts and Weisselberg with 15 felony counts in connection with an alleged scheme stretching back to 2005 "to compensate Weisselberg and other Trump Organization executives in a manner that was 'off the books.'"
They were charged with a scheme to defraud, conspiracy, criminal tax fraud, and falsifying business records. Weisselberg was also charged with grand larceny and offering a false instrument for filing.....

2. Following the unsealing of the indictment, the "Me First" ex-president criticised the investigation: "The political Witch Hunt by the Radical Left Democrats, with New York now taking over the assignment, continues. It is dividing our Country like never before!"
Like "fake news", "witch hunt" is one of the favourite catchphrases of the self-declared “Messiah” ex-president. In February this year, moments after the US senate voted to acquit him of inciting a deadly insurrection, he slammed the Democrats' second impeachment attempt as “yet another phase of the greatest witch hunt in the history of our Country.”
Instead of calling it a "witch hunt", he should have called it a "crucifixion" which is more in line with his claim of the Second Coming of Christ. Just think how his supposedly Heavenly Father would feel when He finds out His beloved American son has been treated as a "male witch" or a “warlock” instead of the Second Christ in a "witch hunt”, not a “crucifixion”.
