The US is burdened down under more than $35 trillion in funded debt with 3 or 4 times more unfunded debt. The US debt increases when lawmakers, led by the representatives in the House Ways and Means Committee, authorize federal spending. Two thirds of the entire US debt was added by democrat budget writers of democrat controlled Congresses.
