Dont be so hard on them. The writing was on the wall when they voted in Trump. They had to be partly mentally incapacitated to do that. Then comes the virus and their conspiracy theories kicked in and fear of a govt slaughter back by gates, they refused it.
The hospitals were full of unvaccinated dickheads and they died like flies but wouldn't take the vaccine. Some idiots even believed god would protect them.

Then, their lord and saviour Trump, confidently told them everything was under control. They still didn't want vaccine but injected disinfectant. Of course the science skills of Trump kicked in and he recommended snake oil.
It failed also but not to be outdone, they soldiered on and a million died.

One humorous wag refused to believe the deaths because he hadn't seen any graves. I kid you not.

But it was all a big con by those wretched Chinese again. They were armed ready to take over the wh. But Trump was gonna let that happen. He stormed the capital instead.

So, the common thread is republicans and your stats above prove it. It is an ongoing problem for them and no resolution in sight while they are puppets to Trump.
