I do not think it is worse. We voted them in, and they betrayed us. McClellan was hired and sold out for $$$. McClellan was only held to basic honor. The RINO's in government promised us conservative values then caved, after they got our votes.

One thing I can say for the Dems is they do listen to their liberal base. I wish it was the other way around

No. I am all for conservation. I am not for destroying our economy, and our livelihood based on faulty theory.

Reagan did not permit the democrats to define the terms or the issues. He did not permit them to control him.

This group has.

Global warming is a hoax, and the democrats are going to destroy us over it, and the republicans are going to not only let it happen, but they are willing participants. Watch closely the Werner/Liberman bill they are going to try and pass next week.

However, Robinson's research revealed "highly embarrassing" results proving conclusively that Pauling's data on vitamin C was false. According to the article:

He told Robinson that he was more proud of the Soviet than the Norwegian award. Robinson is the senior author of the Oregon Petition, a petition of over 31,000 self-described scientists or engineers (in 2008), intended to show that a "scientific consensus" does not exist on the subject of global warming.[8] Robinson is a signatory to A Scientific Dissent From Darwinism, a petition produced by the Discovery Institute that expresses skepticism about the ability of natural selection to account for the complexity of life, and encouraging careful examination of the evidence for "Darwinian theory".

It's high time conservatives do the same.
That might work, but I don’t want to look pathetic like the left does. And I wouldn’t want to degrade the country like they do or burn flags or any of that gross stuff. Couldn’t we just do a sit in? Avoid grapes for a while?

My favorite is what I already do, I don’t vote for RINO’s, I don’t spend my money on anything that will make a liberal rich. I don’t buy their books, see their films or eat their salad dressing. If every conservative did what I do someone would want our Votes and money enough to listen.


I could scream I am moving to Italy if Obama gets elected. Susan Sarandon said she would do that if McCain gets elected. So far this is the first great thing I can think of that would happen if McCain got elected. I am "almost" rooting for him now. Oh how I hate that woman.

Maybe the best strategy to get Conservatives to back McCain is if all the radical weirdo’s on the left. Michael Moore, Susan Sarandon, Barbra Streisand and the gang all promised to move away if McCain gets elected. The conservatives might come out in droves.. Just to be rid of them.

Biologic Institute

Main article: Biologic Institute

In 2005 the Discovery Institute provided the funding to set up the Biologic Institute in Redmond and the Fremont district of Seattle, Washington, headed by Douglas Axe. The Biologic Institute claims to conduct research into intelligent design in response to one of the primary criticisms of intelligent design, that there is no valid research conducted by the scientific community on the topic. According to Axe, the lab's main objective "is to show that the design perspective can lead to better science", and will "contribute substantially to the scientific case for intelligent design".[30] Biologic's staff consists of "at least three researchers" (Axe, the senior researcher; Zoology PhD Ann Gauger, who like Axe is a signatory to the Discovery Institute's anti-evolution manifesto A Scientific Dissent From Darwinism; Brendan Dixon, a software developer).[30] In keeping with the Discovery Institute's October 2006 statement that intelligent design research is being conducted by the institute in secret to avoid the scrutiny of the scientific community,[31][32] both Axe and Discovery Institute spokesperson Rob Crowther portray it as a "separate entity" despite being funded by the Discovery Institute.[30]

Previously serving as a director of the institute was George Weber, who is also a member of the local chapter of the creationist group Reasons to Believe. In an interview he stated that the lab is a wing of the Discovery Institute and that their goal is to "challenge the scientific community on naturalism" and "What we are doing is necessary to move ID along" which lead to his dismissal from the board of the institute.[30][33]

PZ Myers likens the Biologic Institute's design research program to cargo cults, with "Intelligent Design creationists pretend[ing] that they're doing science."[34]
