Someone got hold of Mitt Romney's speech for the Republican National Convention, that he will give this week to formally accept the nomination for President. And they put it on the internet. Here it is:
----------------------------------------------
It's a pretty hard-hitting speech, that direstly addresses a lot of the issues we have today. And it sounds a lot like some of Romney's recent speeches, where he points out that the Americn people are willing and able to make things better, by their own efforts.
It's a far cry from the "You didn't build that, somebody else made that happen" attitude we've gotten from certain other politicians recently.
---------------------------------------------
Well, OK, I confess. As relevant and direct as it is to today's problems, this isn't Romney's speech. I don't actually know what he's going to say... though I hope it's something along these lines.
This is from a speech made recently, by someone else. I just changed a few names, dollar amounts, and dates.
But it does go to show, that when Democrats and other big-govt socialists are given free rein in government, they always cause the same old problems, whether a year ago, or a decade, or a century ago. And the solutions are likewise the same, and produce good results when tried.
Anyone want to guess who said this, and when?
