I can't get too excited about it either way. I own a dozen guns; I've been around guns & gun owners all my life & had never heard of bump stocks until the Vegas thing. The ban was nothing more than virtue signalling; an attempt by the Panderer In Chief to play both sides of the aisle.
Congress has the authority to impose a ban legislatively. I predict there's no one home on that score.
