I believe what the BBC failed to mention was that Trump advocated peaceful protests and had repeatedly offered democrat leaders before the event to send in soldiers to keep the peace. The democrat leaders refused Trump's offer of military support to keep peace and then dishonestly claimed he never made any such offers.
