I think people like Vera Cooper should be able to carry concealed while high.

She is a responsible person.

Good. Better. Best.

This last year Byrna nation has spoken, and we have listened. So this year Byrna is debuting a new array of handheld pistol launchers to fit the various needs of our vast user base.

For those looking for an affordable way to get that Byrna level of protection, the first launcher in this array is the all new Byrna Essential Pistol or EP which is everything you loved about our Byrna SD at a price of under 300 dollars.

The EP still utilizes the same pull pierce technology Byrna is known for but has removed the external safety and included a 5 round magazine to make it the most affordable launcher Byrna has ever offered.
The better option in this array is Byrna’s best selling launcher, the Byrna SD.

The SD was released at the end of 2021 and has been our most popular launcher to date. So the SD will continue to serve as a great go to hand held less launcher but now at a reduced price!

And for those of you looking for more power, you asked, and we delivered! The Best option in our handheld launcher array is the all new Byrna LE, a launcher built for professionals that’s now available to the public.

The LE uses the popular 12 gram CO2 cartridge to launch .68 caliber rounds at speeds of over 340 feet per second making it the most powerful launcher in the Byrna arsenal.

The LE also comes with new high visibility bright white sites and a completely redesigned trigger that’s lighter weight than most semi-automatic pistols. The LE also comes with 2 of Byrna’s all new 7 round magazines making it the most capable less lethal launcher for self-defense.

With Byrna's all new array of handheld launchers you not only have more less-lethal force options, you now have a good, better, and the best option to make sure that if the time comes, you are prepared to defend

Nothing wrong with non lethal.
I do carry a gun , but I also did in my professional life for close to 18 years or so.
I also carry pepper foam with dye . In my car I keep A asp . I have used them all at except the gun at one time or another. I miss being able to carry a black jack like I grew up with

What's best ? Well a combination of both to me .I carry at the least pepper spray .I miss being able to carry a black jack.I also carry a ASP in the car door.
Every blue moon I will carry a .380 auto that was a gift to me Mostly I carry a Glock 26 aka the baby Glock in my private I have other Glock models from lightly modified to highly modified .
I carried a Glock 19 working for a private college for over a decade and before .,

Seems like these would be good for merchants, except the bad guys might just categorize them as targets that need to be shot early in the robbery, before it's announced or discovered. The best defense is a good offense works here, too. Better to have a reputation as being armed, -in spades.

Just curious what others think.
Denying Americans their 2nd amendment rights should not be allowed except in cases of clear concern, like felony convictions or acts of violence deemed indications of unstable mental states.

I am ambivalent here. I can see both sides and am unsure there is a good answer. Certainly, people in pain or other medical need deserve whatever Rx does the job they need done. Also certainly, people on drugs that bend reality with guns make me nervous. We have laws in most places where it is illegal to carry in a bar. Drunks with guns is bad Karma. Druggies with guns gives the same feelings. I know MJ users like to think of themselves as ordinary people, but Ya know, lots of strange people have come out in the open in the last fifty years insisting that they were perfectly ~normal~ that I, for one, do not find ~normal~. A great deal of what's going on with so-called ~gender~ with children being cultivated by people to think of queer sex as just another perfectly fine conduct with anyone who paws them was formerly a felony. It should still be a felony and the whole pubic school system should be set on fire and be replaced with for-profit schools that only get federal or state funds that follow the student. Those institutions would be immediately rewarded as deserved as opposed to our present system where they do whatever the hell they want and get all the money anyway. I like the concept of church associated schools which tend to deliver educations that comport with the values of the locals. I can't remember the last time a group of churched youths attacked other people. Football games do not count. Yes, there are some pushy LDS door knockers out there, but they will go away without taking your property, -or your life. I can handle that. Jews don't recruit, so they don't present a problem either. I have had my knuckles rapped by Nuns, but I was less than a perfect student...

I've been of the opinion for a long time that inner city residents should be issued guns by the city and free to use them inside their homes for defense. That would cut down on burglaries and home invasions, if by no other means than reducing the number of living burglars & invaders. I can live with that, too. Accidental deaths with firearms are statistically insignificant, ESPECIALLY as compared to deaths due to criminal acts.

Most druggies, legal & extralegal do it at home, I suppose those on Rx should be exempted from personal ownership of firearms inside their homes and businesses. They should be comfortable with relinquishing concealed-carry permits outside home & business as a trade-off.. This all brings up another wrinkle: driving while drugged. There needs to be a standard just like with booze. I don't know what that standard is, but someone does.

Who can we trust to create a reasonable standard? Not the FDA or the AMA, WHO, university science staffs, -their recent collective record with COVID being an exemplar of piss-poor science and bought & sold principles. The Trust-Busters of the turn of the former Century knew for sure that commerce & industry couldn't be trusted to police themselves and created the forerunners of FDA, et al. We are now finding that Social Media now has the money & clout that the Trust-Busters had to fight against in the early 1900s, but now have Swamp Creatures as allies making for a joint-power base (pun intended) that dwarfs that of the bad guys 120 years ago. I think the bad guys of yesteryear were merely greedy and not nearly as evil as the current batch. At the very least, they didn't have the ability to shut people up the way they can now. And the judges weren't as unprincipled as today's. The entire New York bench should be shit-canned for not acting to expel from the profession Prosecutors like Bragg & James and so-called Judge Engoron. That they can exist in a system called Justice is an offense against the Constitution. -Just one more example of why no group can ever be trusted to self-police.
