There is no proof that "alternate energy" has any possibility of providing more than a tiny fraction of US energy needs, now or in any time but the most remote future.  If you have any PROOF to the contrary, provide it, otherwise shut up.  The biggest "mountains of manure" are from the "alternate energy" wackos.
