The cost to MW ratio beats nuclear hands down....let alone the safety issues..There's a few populated areas out West that would hugely take the drain of dependance off foreign oil should geothermal go big there. And we have grids too ya know..There's no reason why everything West of the Mississippi couldn't be geothermal.
