Liberal Obituary:

Steve Jobs died yesterday. He was a disgusting capitalist who stole all his wealth from the poor and minorities. He refused to give ALL his ill gotten wealth to the wonderful and most effective federal government.

He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and used his inherited position to garner amazing wealth, while refusing to help the poor and downtrodden. He did nothing to help the people of the world. He lived a life of luxury while polluting the planet.

Good riddance.

Liberal Obituary:

Steve Jobs was a visionary who never bought into the "money grabbing" side of his amazing talent, but focused on Imagination and possibilities for the common good, rather than wealth for his own benefit.

He died one of the richest man in the world, yet, rightly so, his "worth" was not in his billions, but in who he was, in the gifts he made to the whole world, in the discreet, faihful love he shared with his family, and in the love and respect he inspired across the continents and cultures.

His legacy will endure, not because of the wealth, almost in spite of it.

RIP, Steve, thank you for always staying real.

His nothing sacred to you? Is everything an opportunity to spew vitriol about liberals?

I feel sorry for you!

My Sweet, I posted this in the political humor forum. But, I am glad that your opinion of Jobs is a rational one, unlike so many irrational posts you have made on other issues.

Ask yourself why Apple Computers was even ever founded. It was founded in Steve Job's garage, while he was trying to sell personal computers to people.

So, Apple Computers was founded (as any company is founded) because someone wanted to make money. This is certainly not a bad thing, and yes Job's did all kinds of charity work etc, but let us not forget that at the core of why Apple is even around, is the desire to make money.

Come on, Bob! It wasn't about "Making money!" It was about "CREATING" something HUGE, something beautiful, something never done!

Visionaries don't work on "money!" True visionaries, and Steve Jobs was one of the top exemples of a true visionary, work on challenges, creativity, contribution.

Money is just a "by product" of their genius. Look at him. . .look at the company he founded.

They are the antithesis of the "silver spoon" elite!

I'm sorry that you must belittle Steve Job's grandeur in order to try to rationalize your focus on "greed!"

I am pretty sure Steve Jobs would have been insulted!

Dear heart, would you EVER be willing to engage in positive humor, and recognize the difference between using a very sad event to serve your partisanship view, and the respect due to a great man upon his death?

You don't form a company to sell personal computers with the idea you will make no money. Apple was formed to turn a profit..pure and simple.

That is all fine and good, yet still not why the company was founded. Are you saying Steve Jobs was a visionary because he started a company to sell computers?

Fact is, he made better computers so he could sell more of them.

Money is just a "by product" of their genius. Look at him. . .look at the company he founded.

No..Apple is a massive corporation that makes faster and better products to sell more of them and make more money.

I'm sorry that you must belittle Steve Job's grandeur in order to try to rationalize your focus on "greed!"

I am not sure why you are misrepresenting my position. In no way am I belitting Steve Jobs, he was a great innovator....you think he did it all out of the goodness of his heart...I think he started it all because he wanted to make money.

Greed creates good in my opinion in many cases.

I am pretty sure Steve Jobs would have been insulted!

About what? The fact that he was able to make money?

If it wasn't about making a buck why are his products the most expensive ? Why his insistence upon proprietary aspects of every one ?

That aside he DID new things and thats good. Vaya con Dios Steve, Apple will miss you.

I am always amazed how people who LIVE for money project their obession on everyone else!

You REALLY believe that Steve Jobs created all he did with the priority goal of becoming a billionaire?

How sad it must be to live in your head!

What liberals will never understand is that entrepreneurs would NEVER EVER do those great things without a PROFIT MOTIVE.

If no profit motive existed, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Ray Kroc, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, etc......would never be known to the world and the world would never know their great inventions.

I guess libs think they did what they did out of the kindness of their hearts.

CRAZY!!!

Entrepreneurs may not (although I doubt that most wouldn't pursue their dream even if they have a 90% chance of failure to make their dream profitable!).

Visionaries would. Visionaries DO.

Steve Jobs WAS a visionary, a creator, an artist.

Just as real artist will paint, play music, write, even with the belief that they have one chance in a million to every make a living doing what they love, a visionary will create whether or not his creation will ever see the light of day. When recognition and financial advantages come along WITH their creation, they use that, not to sit and enjoy the wealth, but to create more, to go further in their vision.

Ignoring that fact about Steve Jobs is belittleling his genius.

Change that to making a buck then yes he did. Otherwise he would have charged far less for his wares. How odd it is to live your life under such irreconcilable delusions.

I was going to ask you exactly the same questions.

How difficult is it to make that green piece of paper your ONLY focus, and believe that it is the ONLY reason for human's creativity to exists?

How would the human race have ever evolve beyond knocking stones together BEFORE paper money (or gold) was "discovered?"

Oh, wait. . .you don't believe in evolution, right?
So. . .do you believe that GOD CREATED men with the ultimate goal of idolizing "material wealth?"

So sorry for you!

Moving the goalposts again, I'm surprised !

You stated that Job's motivation was devoid of profit expectation but now wish to retreat to accepting that maybe it was.

You can rest assured that its a very very recent development among some (generally unsuccessful) artists and only those who have a daddy to cover their expenses.

Why would you assume I don't believe in evolution ? More significant why would you frame it as a belief ? Its just science and science either is or it is not. Belief is reserved for that which cannot be proven.
