This time in the form of Chip Pickering, another "family values" Republican. In fact, last year he urged George Bush to declare 2008 "the National Year of the Bible."

How much hypocrisy can this lousy hypocritical party display before even their most ardent supporters say..enough is enough? And how can anyone take any GOP member's laughable BS "family values" spiel seriously when you know there's an excellent chance that person is screwing just about anything that walks behind the scenes?

Former Congressman and C Street resident Chip Pickering's estranged wife has filed a lawsuit against Pickering's alleged mistress. Leisha Pickering is suing Elizabeth Creekmore-Byrd for alienation of affection.

Rep. Pickering, a Republican from Mississippi, allegedly continued seeing his college sweetheart while they were both married. According to the suit, some of the "wrongful conduct" occurred at the C Street facility for Christian congressmen -- the same one where Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) and Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) have lived, and where Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC) has recently sought counseling.

Clearly you are the master of hypocrisy.
....When there are so-many active-REPUBLICANS you could support??!!!

"An attorney for Ensign has claimed that the payments to the Hamptons were “made as gifts, accepted as gifts.”

If that is correct, Doug Hampton could face inquiries by Congress and tax authorities as to whether he lied on his Senate forms.

Doug Hampton claims, however, that the payments were not gifts at all, but were instead severance pay for work the Hamptons had done for Ensign.

If that was the case, reports the Sun, “The details are critical because if the payment was a severance, as Doug Hampton claims, Ensign could face felony criminal charges for failing to report the transfer on campaign disclosure forms as would be required.”
