"Now a recently published phone conversation between a soldier and his wife would appear to back up the allegations of extensive Russian looting in the Russian occupied parts of Ukraine.

The soldier describes how his colleagues are carrying off all they can in bags and that he himself had stolen makeup for his wife and vitamins for himself.

He said: "We're waiting for everyone to come out and we are the last ones to leave. I, um, stole a little."

When his wife asked what exactly, he replied: "A little makeup for you."

She laughed and said: "Well, everything to the family! It's okay! It's hello from Ukraine. Fine."

Andrei told his wife that the Ukrainians appeared to enjoy a much higher standard of living than Russians.

He is struck by the high quality of clothes he finds in the house, where he is billeted.

Andrei said: "Adidas shorts here....but stuff is high quality, for sure....all of it. I was so shocked when I walked in the room."

To which his wife replied: "Imagine how they lived, right? And how the fuck do we live?

"That's what they're fighting for, they're saying 'we lived fine, you're the ones who came here.'"

Andrei noted the standard of the house renovations, calling them "awesome", before turning his attention to the gazebo.

He said: "You know, and the gazebo...It's really cool. It's lined with stone..."

"Russian soldiers, driven into poverty and lawlessness by their state for decades, took out everything of any value from Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.

"When they got to the war and entered the territory of a neighboring state, tens of thousands of Russian military were simply shocked by the normality of life. They were shocked by the cities and villages where people lived and did not live in poverty. They were shocked by household appliances in their homes. They were shocked that people had enough of normal food," Zelensky said, speaking via video link to the South Korean parliament on Monday.

He also said that Russia creates conditions of total poverty for its citizens, when they cannot afford even the simplest things: normal food, education, ordinary household appliances, conditions when military service for many of them becomes the only social elevator and opportunity to get at least something in life."

Trump had the economy booming. Poor joe and his followers dont seem to understand. People going back to thier jobs after a pandemic lock down is not creating jobs
Were still not back to as many employed when trump was president but with inflation at 8.5 percent and growing especially in the energy costs and food prices its really socking it to the poor.
And he has a tax plan to tax us 2.5 trillion more with 36 new taxes and 11 of them are taxes on energy related items . fuel elc etc again really sticking it to the poor .
And his flood of illegals coming in are creating Competition for low skill jobs that many Americans depend on . And causing lower wages.

Russia is a dictatorship, not a place where ordinary citizens can live decent lives. The sanctions placed on Russia as a result of the war have also had an effect on its economy.

What Russia is doing to Ukraine is just sad. The country has all but been destroyed, and for what? Only one man is really for this war, and that is Vladimir Putin He is an evil man, and must be stopped.
