I never said I believed in God nor that I believed you were part of an anti-American hate group. I merely commented on the reality of the understanding of the word atheists in our society today. There is nothing bigoted about my comment. It is not exactly my "opinion". I pointed out more than one example of how atheists are viewed in our society today, both by themselves and by others. This would be fact, not without dispute of course, but clearly not opinion. I admire your thoughts and efforts to clarify to others about the real differences between atheists and anti-theist, but I don't believe it will have much impact. It would be like trying to convince liberals that their ideology is really socialist and therefore not compatible with the Constitution. No matter how much truth there are in these statements, convincing enough people otherwise of these truths is another matter.
