The year is 1947

Some of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, a little over 60 years ago, witnesses
claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto
a sheep and mule ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico.

This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S.
Air Force and other federal agencies and organizations.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April 1948, nine months
after that historic day, the following people were born:

No wonder they support the bill to help illegal aliens!

It had more to do with making money than some sense of fairness. They all knew there were terrific black players and it was just a matter of time before someone bit and hired the talent. Winning puts fannies in seats and blacks would work cheaper. Hard to believe it took that long. Maybe because MLB was north of the Mason Dixon line ? Closest one to the horrible bigoted south was Washington.
 
What if Jackie Robinson never suceeded? What if he sucked and played poorly? Baseball would still be all white today as well the NFL and the NBA. I then id would be rooting for the Baltimore Elite Giants right now cause the Orioles would be still in St Louis as the Browns right now and the Dodgers wouldnt never gone to L.A nether if Jackie sucked in 1947. And Yeah the Colts would still be in Baltimore right now.

Do you really think they would sign anything other than the best ? They could have added many of those negro league teams as new MLB teams and they would have been very competitive if not superior. Robinson was zero risk unless some racist yankee shot him.
 
Hitler could have banned the U.S olympic delegation from entering Germany in the 1936 olympic games because of Jessie Owens. Why didnt he?

He actually believed his aryans would prevail. Obviously not good at picking winners. But to be fair, he did not have Jimmy the Greek to school him on the physiology of blacks so how could he know ? Besides, how many blacks had he ever actually seen period much less competing ?
