One third of Americans earn less than $9 per hour
40% have no medical insurance.
Illiteracy is rife
Obesity is rife
And yet the republican government has spent a trillion dollars fighting an illegal war.

That could have solved the sub-prime problem.
It could have housed the homeless, one third of who are ex-servicemen that are allegedly heroes.
How many schools could have been built?

Why could anyone but the very rich. conscience-free want another four years of this?

Re-electing this lot is a classic case of turkeys voting for xmas

you should study American politics. What country are you from? do they teach ameircan politics?

there is no re election. your facts are soooo bas ackwards that its funny.

one thing is for sure, if we didnt have the war we would not have gotten the money from China. We should not borrow money from other countrys especially a place like china. that is the worst thing we have done

Tax breaks for the rich and the poor get poorer.

are you ashamed of the country you are from?

I think you know it is a whole lot worse than that USA and you are ashamed to say where it is because we can name a hundred broken things.

instead you hide where you are from and bash us.

that makes me feel very sorry for you

The republicans have done far far more for thee rich who don't need it than for the poor who do and the poor outnumber the rich by many thousands to one

The republicans would rather take your money and spend it on a war a long way away than help the poor of its own country.

Your heroes returning from war are treated like **** when they are no longer useful.

you have no idea what is going on in our country. why dont you go try to fix your own country. what is so wrong with your own country that you cant name it.

According to a recent US government report, The State of Literacy in America, released by the National Institute for Literacy (NIL), there has been a significant growth in illiteracy in America. Over 90 million US adults, nearly one out of two, are functionally illiterate or near illiterate, without the minimum skills required in a modern society.

true the school system is failing Americans. I can not disagree with that, but it is probably better than what ever thrid world country you are from :)
do they even let you vot there?

The prevalence of obesity in the United States has been greatly underestimated. Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) analyzed data from health surveys, which are used to estimate obesity levels in states. Because people tend to provide incorrect information about their weight and height, especially in telephone surveys, the researchers concluded that estimates of obesity in individual states have been too low, by more than 50 percent. Their study, which corrects for misreporting in those surveys, appears in the May 2006 issue of the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Turkeys being fattened for xmas

Yep we do have that also, its the price you pay when you live in a land where even the homeless are fat :) we need for nothing unlike some other countries. If you have to be homeless this is the place to be, where even the homeless have to much food :)

You need for nothing?

If you think that obesity is about an abundance of food you are very poorly informed.

There are plenty of countries in the devloped world that have an abundance of food but noting like the obesity levels of the US.

Eating to these levels is the result of psychological problems where food is used for comfort.

Which shows you that not only are masses of adults in the US illiterate but they are also psychologically damaged.

Hopefully we can fix the education system. If our country uses food for comfort where other countries dont have enough food to go around, what country is better off?

ok in sick places like Amsterdam they use heroin and other drugs to comfort theirselves and Americans uses food. Id rather pick the second :)

You do like skating on thin ice don't you.

The US has a drugs problem that mamkes Amsterdam look like a kindergarten.

As for your other point that only countries that are short of food don't have an obesity problem I think this displays the gross ignorance that besets Americans about the rest of the world.
