Like supporting Saddam Hussain when he served our short term interests of opposing Iran, or selling arms to Iran to raise money to fight a dictatorship in Nicaragua. Our foreign policy needs to be based on pragmatism, not on ideology. Our domestic policy needs to be based on pragmatism as well.
