I remember watching a magazine show on all the deaths that occurred on a  military base which i cant remember the name of now.  It happened because the men came back within days of serving in war and they had not had time to detox.  Back in the day it would take a boat trip of a month or two before they would see the family again but in this day and age it happens so much faster the guys arent ready to deal with civilian life so fast.  If that doesn't scare a military wife, nothing will.
