In recent years we have seen any question about whether the Earth is warming be replaced by the assumption that it is and all debate has been about why. The turning point seems to have been when that great scientist, G.W. Bush, stated it to be so.

We have also learned that the climate change movement stands on shaky ground so today I offer two more things for you to consider.

1) In recent news from NASA we learn that the sun warms the earth in a way that we never even knew about before. None of the climate models have even taken into account this new way that the sun warms the Earth.

2) When faced with the prospect that the data does not show the Earth to be warming (or at least not as much as predicted) warmists (formerly known as the artist Prince:)) say that it is the oceans that are absorbing that heat.

But lets recap our fundamental warming theory: According to the theory we have measured the temperature of the Earth and it is getting warmer. Any challenge to the measurements is met with a unified consensus that the measurements account for the entire planet, i.e the atmosphere, the land, and the oceans. It is as if we were told that the temperature in a home was measured and when asked if all of it were measured we were told that yes every room was measured.

So how is it that the entire earth has been measured but the oceans are absorbing the heat? Aren't the oceans a part of the earth? It is as if when asked about the temperature of a home we have been told that the whole house was measured but the reason that the living room is not as hot as expected is that the kitchen is actually holding onto the heat.

As I have said from the beginning, we have never measured the temperature of the earth completely. Any warming we thought we saw could just be heat moving from the oceans to the land and any lack of warming we see now could just as easily be heat moving from the air to the oceans.
