" Hello " again. As many of you know by now who I am,
and I do not co-sign silly bs. I have noticed that some
of your posters seem to just sit at your computer, and
think up some real off the wall bs.

I also notice that when a new topic appears on a thread
its is submitted in its own format, but these same offbeat
posters who post their garbage don't reply once they see
the answer (they move on), and I just had to share my
thoughts about people who takes up space with a non
debating post.

The war in the Middle East should be a serious concern
for all of us. Racism & other human and economic issues
here in American we need to be concerned about.

In closing both political parties seem to be confused about
what is best or not good for the American people, and I think
that we (as citizens) should speak up.

Can't disagree with that at all. There are lots of issues, big and small, that we can be concerned about. But I'm often dismayed in these forums to see how far of subject the posts can go. And how in doing so, the writers resort to ineffective and unneeded insults and downright hateful expressions. I guess for some who share the same perspective, it's like the party of like minds, and they all join in and seem to enjoy themselves.

Myself, I rarely participate when that is the tone. What's the point? Why bother? It's like a feeding frenzy, and no valid points are to be made. Civility is out of vogue, and honest debate is unimaginable.

oh....come now...sometimes it's fun to get a little silly :p
Couldn't agree more! A little comedy relief goes a long way in the throws of political smack down.

On a more serious note, we all must understand and accept the fact that a lot of venting typically occurs in all political forums. Some of it is malicious in nature but I would argue that a majority is genuine frustration. I am generally conservative politically and fully expect that debate will at times be rather heated. I am comfortable with this if I am convinced that my opponents truly believe in their positions even when there are the occasional personal insults. I certainly do not advocate this but I understand the human condition and this is a part of it's imperfection.

I think we all have regretted a post or two in these forums but I would hope that it is part of a learning process that helps us move to a higher level of understanding and gives us more incite as to how the other side views the political landscape. Of course there will always be a few that hate for hates sake but my experience here tells me that is the exception and not the rule.

Imagine how many of us would be banished from this and other forums if there was a zero tolerance rule.

Again, agree with you both, Coyote and Castle. Humor and levity are welcome components to otherwise sobering (and sometimes downright dismaying) issues and current events. I've got no problem with that at all.

I also don't mind that the discussions can get a little heated. I know that I feel quite passionate about many things, and I don't expect that others with opposing perspectives can't do the same. My comment about civility and mean-spiritedness, and my lack of participation in those conditions, is exactly that.

For the most part, discussions are quite enjoyable on this site. I do wish that some would put a bit more thought into what they are saying, BEFORE they say it, but hey! We all have times where we have to explain or clarify what we said.

Levity? Humor? I'll take it every time over a dour doom-sayer.

WOW... Am I glad you guys said that because I've been holding back some VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Sure its fun to be silly at times, but then there's a time
to be serious, and respect other people. I am sure that
most of these site Administrators and Owners did realize
these two facts, and that's why they created the TOS codes.

However, I do not find nothing funny about our nation
being screwed up like it is. Plus people are dying as we
are rejoicing, and I totally agree that laughter is good
to break negative vibes.

But what gets me is (like I said) don't think before they
post. Because if they did there would be good debates
happening, and less at each others throats because of
dis-agreements.

I guess since I am being the joker I will laugh everytime
I hear about a soldier dying in Iraq, or when terrorist
talk about bushwhacking America, or when someone
signs online, and *****slap someone with their keyboard
because of a dis-agreement.

Every morning we wake up we are considered blessed,
due to the fact that damage can happen to America
just like we are causing pain in other countries, and yet
we don't take the Middle East crisis serious.

Oh well, Everybody isn't like me, and I am not like
everyone else....this I have to accept In closing,
As Americans, Why is it that we can't come up with
a solution to end the killing in Iraq, and yet we are
picking with Iran?

Yeah we should think before we post. Because maybe
we might slander or post a comment that might piss
another poster off. Heyyy...I understand that most
of don't care. Well I do, and thanks for letting me
say what I wanna say. ( Maybe I am having my Senior
moments)
