If the military does not allow heterosexual men to shower with hetero women, why should it allow openly gay women to shower with hetero women and openly gay men to shower with hetero men?

If the DADT thing is repealed, the first thing they should do is make barracks and bathroom facilities coed.  Anything less would be descrimination because the assumption for having separate facilities is that an atmosphere that promotes sexuality is unacceptable in the military.  You cannot say "oh, the gays will be able to control their sexual urges around the objects of their desire while heteros cannot be trusted under the same conditions.  That would be bigotry against heteros.

One thing I could live with is if they're going to repeal DADT, they must build separate living/showering quarters for these people.  Or maybe they could house lesbians in with the hetero men and gays in with hetero women?  Of course then you'd get sly hetero men enlisting as "gay" so they could take showers with the women..lol..  I'm getting a headache thinking about it.  Glad I'm not having to deal with it on a day to day basis..

Just some ideas.
