Mares are not exactly tranquil. If you knew horses you would know that they can be quite vicious. Mares like to kick and they are ruthless with their herdmates when establishing a pecking order. They are especially brutal to new members of the herd. I've seen some boss mares back a herd member up to a wall or fence and drop kick them within inches of their lives, pinning them up against the wall with no escape from pummeling hooves.

And as to your wishes, MT, of having a more serene existence masquerading as a female..lol...women are some of the most ruthless creatures there are. Whereas a man will punch you in the nose when he is mad at you and then buy you a drink the next day. A woman may smile at you and plot how to burn your house down or still carry a grudge ten years later, needling and undercutting you every chance she gets..

You need to study your genders a little better. I think "confused" is pretty much of an understatement to describe you.
