Why should we need a White House ballroom? We have have no need for one in over 200 years. None of us will ever dance or eat there, only a few MIGHT be allowed for a short visit on a tour.

Why upgrade the WH ballroom or, for that matter, why build a billion-dollar library that cannot pass construction certification tests and force Chicago to pay for it because you can no longer afford to pony up the $600 million dollars you had promised to pay before the construction began?
