1. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh held a press conference on Monday morning following the discovery of a mass grave on the grounds of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C. last week. Singh, who is also a lawyer, was asked about his use of the word “genocide” to describe the historical abuse of Indigenous people in Canada, as it’s a designation that has legal implications....

2. Despite the curse by the "super economist" from across the border to reserve a place in hell for him, Trudeau dares not condemn the genocide of natives and other war crimes by that guy's country. Maybe, he is afraid of another curse by that guy to send him deeper into hell.

Trudeau crows about the formation of a "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" to address the issues of Canadian genocide of natives. Such a commission, however, has amounted to little more than window dressing. The genocide against Canadian natives is ongoing whatever commission Trudeau is boasting about. Instead of taking "cosmetic" measures to bluff his way out of the dilemma, he should launch radar searches of the grounds of residential schools across Canada, which is something that Indigenous leaders are requesting.

As pointed out by Jagmeet Singh: “What has happened to Indigenous people in Canada is genocide, no question about it. There were clearly systems in place designed to kill them."

What right does Canada, an admittedly genocidal nation, have to lecture anyone else? :)
