The US gov, in their infinite wisdom, requires race ID on a job app. They also divide "ethnicity" and "race" into different categories. The ethnicity choices are

1. Hispanic or latino
2. Not hispanic or latino

The race choices are

1. Native American or native Alaskan.
2. Native Hawaiian
3. Black or African American
4. Asian
5. White

I have no clue what the gov definition of ethnicity vs race is. Whatever the difference may be is important only to the bureaucrats.

Next there are 3 races that are all Asian. Native Americans, Native Hawaiians and Asians are all Asian in origin. Why does the gov call these different races?

First off any fertile male of any race can mate with any fertile female of any other race and produce a "biracial" human baby. We are all humans. The concept of race is not scientific or genetic in origin - it is a bureaucratic invention. The next time you fill out a job app, check the box that says "other" and write in human.
