I remember several times in the past when a few far sighted individuals would try to protect existing societal limits from trends, fads and fashions which might lead U.S. down the road to "wronginess" but those courageous individuals were ridiculed and shunted off to the fringes of society.

Eventually, we were forced to just stand back to allow any and every leftist brain storm rock, sock or ravage our population. We had been conditioned to let them have their own way. All we could do was to shake our heads in puzzlement or disgust.
