It appears to me, perhaps, that while I was actually experiencing the civil rights movement, lived through Viet Nam, worked as a Personnel Manager during the wonderful affirmative action days, in California no less, where it took an act of God to fire someone who wasn't at all qualified for a job, but I had to hire anyway, etc. etc., you may have been...well..non existent.
Here's another tidbit for ya', for someone who grew up in California during the 60's, experienced much that those times had to offer, I am one of the more conservative people on this board. I left California 12 years ago because I prefer deer in my front yard, and not gangbangers. And no, that wasn't a problem when I was a kid.....
