Not at all. In this particular situation just as Bush's economic team said President Obama's economic team decides that this rescission could likely go into a depression without a "Stimulus Package". Stimulus means spending... that is mainly what it is. Yes middle class tax cuts that President Obama already had planned help slightly but creating works programs creating job and repairing infrastructure is the real key. The bottom line is not "IF" the money would be spent by either side... because it was going to be spent either way.The only difference is President Obama will push more money into projects that stimulate what he sees as important for our country... like green energy for example. He's the WINNER... he gets to do that.On popularity and sheep... I'm liking the fact that at least 70% of the American people no longer think our sitting President is doing a terrible job... we needed the change!
