I think that being agnostic is just more of the thing today than being a non believer.  I am not really sure what sparked this or the reasoning behind it, but that just seems to be where most of the younger people stand.  I guess it makes sense, and it just leaves more room for the possibility of faith, which might not be a bad thing.
