Yes let's cali just raised the min wage for fast food workers to 20.00 a hour what effect will that have you ask.
More automation less jobs business closing less taxes collected .
The problem problem is the cost of living and dope.
I tried to help a homeless couple living out of hotel room vouchers with 3 kids . I offered to help him get a job at the schools radio station . He refused to work .

The average home in fl is about 409,000 in Cali it's 822,000 Half the cost in Florida but you do not get x2 wages.
Average pay in cali is about 72,000 Florida its 55000.
Good cost more in California also . A big mac in cali cost almost 6 bucks while in Florida it 4.29.
Wages as many demo rats are not the problem but the cost of living .
