Why does Obama and Reid and Pelosi have to buy votes and twist arms?

It's a funny thing.

Obama and the dems have majority in Senate and the House. Yet they need to "buy" health care reform and twist arms.

What that means is we are not getting the bill that is representative of the people.

But Pelosi, Reid and Obama do not are about the collateral damage. They will promise whataver they need to to get this awful piece of legislation, that will raise taxes on the middle class and for the first time.... first time ever..
force Americans to purchase something whether they want to or not.

Hmmm.. No wonder 44% say thwy would rather have Bush back than have Obama as president

What about Obama's falling approval. He's not much higher than that of the liberals most beloved conservative to hate. Sarah Palin

Let's ask some simple questions. And maybe get some simple answers in return. ...

What's the end goal for health care.?

Let's see..

*Public option in senate is out
*Expanding medicare is out
*Still 24million un-insured
*No costs reduction - according to cbo
*No benefit for 3yrs
*Quality of health care - probably won't increase.


So what's the end goal. Why do it if most of what Obama wants isn't in there? Doesn't make sense.

That's why the republicans aren't voting for this. It does not make sense.

Just because liberals want another entitlement does not mean we should pass a crappy piece of legislation that does not do what it is intended to do.


Kinda of like picking out a car. you like to test drive, make sure it has good tires, maybe even a carfax report. No engine problems.

If not you could just walk onto a car lot and point to one wether it will actually provide you reliable comfortable transportation that's affordable.
