The left doesn't believe in the constitution. Although they claim to fear taking away rights, they really don't. They use that as a claim to validate their cause. But when push comes to shove, they have no problem having their rights removed, provided it's their guy doing the removing.For example, supposedly the Patriot Act horribly infringed on our rights. Yet Obama has upheld nearly the entire thing. I can not find one example where he has not. So was it really that bad?
