How do you think America will feel about voting for Obama after they get exposed to Rezco, William Ayres, father Pfledger and ofcourse Reverend Wright?
BTW: Rezco was found guilty of money laundering and other felony cases this week.
Ah geez Obamanation, all the Obamabots have as you should known have gotten together and decided up to livestock animals is acceptable. Anything more is crossing the line. The people who support him won’t care, he could be caught sacrificing a baby to Satan and his supporters would find a reason to say we are over reacting.
as for the average Joe public........ We will have to see. I know a whole lot of people who have no idea about him or are misinformed about it. Some don't want to hear it till November, some learned about it and were shocked, some heard about it and said they didn’t care. So we will see.
most of his supporters (me including) can see he is fallable. He isnt perfect. But pretty darn good, and better than most of what DC vomits in our laps.
I wish I could believe that. I have yet to hear even one Obama bot say anything even slightly critical of Obama, no matter what he says or does. Only defending him, his actions, his judgement.
I have met some who are on the fence between Hillary and him be somewhat critical of things he either has said or done or judgement, but never a full blown bot.
Tell me some of his flaws that you see
Sure, I will say a few things about Obama that are unflattering.
He doesnt have a ton of experience.
I am slightly concerned what sort of controversy the Repucs can make issue of that hasnt potentially come to light yet. I dont imagine, considering defeating the win at all costs Clintons that there is much there though. I might be wrong, one never knows.
I have mixed feelings on his actions surrounding his church. Honestly, what happens in various churches on Sunday, I dont concern myself with much. He could have handled himself better.
I also will say that his idea of withdrawing from Iraq and not keeping bases is wrong. Flat out Wrong. We need to at the very least keep 4 major American military bases in Iraq. But withdraw our combat troops to those bases and let the Iraqs figure it out, presense is detterance. But there is no need to subject our troops to further nation building and peace keeping when thier at great risk themselves.

...that's what the elections all about! Just make sure your chads don't hang out!!I also will say that his idea of withdrawing from Iraq and not keeping bases is wrong. Flat out Wrong. Bunz, that was so refreshing to read. I am very serious; you are the first Obama supporter who has said anything even slightly critical of him on these boards. There are a few on the fence who will admit there are issues with Obama, but not any diehard supporters.
I am just as irritated with those who would blindly support McCain. But it is not as big of an issue since most people supporting McCain will admit his flaws openly and regularly, very regularly.
I think if Obama supporters would be more honest and open about his imperfections people like me wouldn't be so disgusted with the guy who is portrayed as some one who could..............
That's just not the case at all NO Obamanation. Look at your screen name. You come in not willing to give the man a fair shake. You're whole brand is based on smearing & destroying this good man... and that's fine. You have every right to attack in anyway you see fit.
But for those who see the good works of Senator Obama all throughout his life. For those who see the loyal committed family man he is to his wife and beautiful two little girls. To just sit back and let another loyal American be swift boated like was done to John Kerry is not acceptable!
No... Senator Obama cannot walk on water. I've posted before that no one is perfect including him. There have been people around him that he gave the benefit of the doubt to that he probably should have **** canned sooner. He's some lost elections in the past so he's obviously not made of solid gold.
But he's not a manipulative, economy killing, warmongering liar and that's what we have know and that's what we'll have 4 more years of with John McCain.
America needs to believe again. Americans needs hope and a trust that this guy at the top is smart, energetic and truly wants to help the everyday guy & gal on the street. Senator Obama does... and I think a lot of people feel they wouldn't be doing the right thing to just stand idly by and not speak up a little... for this good family man that wants to be our next President.

My screen name was made after much thought and a great deal of researching who Mr. Obama was.
If he is against just about everything I believe in, what should I be giving him a chance to do? Change? Or change me? Neither is going to happen.
You have defended and over looked every seedy thing he has said or done, and called anyone who dare question him unfair. Your answer is always the other guy is worse. IN some cases I would say McCain is worse, but the thing is...... I SAY IT.
I don’t just defend it or say someone else is worse, as though that is going to make him ok.
You said he doesn’t lie but I have posted a news story where he did lie, He gave an ear mark to his wife’s work for 2.5 mil. He said she was not on the payroll at the time, but IRS said she was....... but in the end I am intolerable for even daring to post it, its never that Obama did what he is accused of, we are just bad Americans smearing & destroying for pointing it out.
You've attacked the poor man and even his wife as being bad parents with absolutely no, zero, nodda single fact to back it up in any way. Yes as a Father myself that does upset me a little I guess.
You say he's done all these other terrible illegal things. OK... SHOW ME WHERE AN OBAMA HAS EVER BEEN CHARGED WITH ANYTHING ILLEGAL> SHOW ME JUST ONE INDICTMENT OF ANY OBAMA> SHOW ME WHERE ANY DISCIPLINARY ACTION WAS EVER TAKEN AGAINST SENATOR OBAMA IN ANY WAY.
There's an impartial legal system in place for just this reason. Or are you now the ultimate judge & jury?
Senator Obama is a fine loyal family man that's helped people in trouble starting at the bottom as a Community Organizer helping laid off workers in Chicago... to a well respected State Senator... To a UNITED STATES SENATOR
Swift boat style smear techniques don't change any of the good works Senator Obama is well recognized for. It doesn't change the fact that even Republicans in the Illinois State Senate have done TV ads for the man

NO Obamanation;41466]Yes I did say he was not a very good parent. And if you expose your children to hate filled racism, I will say that you are not a very good parent too! My single fact to back it up is that he took his children weekly to a very hate filled racist church.
His connections to Tony Rezco’s illegal land deals, Rezco took the brunt and will take the punishment and blame for it but he was involved. He took money from Rezco for his campaign, and then said he gave it back. It was brought to his attention that he didn’t give it all back and didn’t disclose it all so he gave more back. That happened again and he gave more back. Rezco buys a house then turns right around and sells it to Obama for over $350.00 less than he had literally just bought it for. Yeah that’s normal! Then Rezco buys the lot next to Obama, divides the land differently and gives Obama a sweetheart deal of more personal land, then he gets indicted for land fraud issues, but yes I will admit that Obama is clean on this…. It’s just another thing that wont stick to him. His ear marks to his wife’s organization. He lied he said she was not on the board when he gave the money but IRS said she was. But I guess IRS is the lying anti Obama creeps in this one.
No, I am just a voter
You made big bold mention of being a UNITED STATES SENATOR.. but I don’t understand why. I assume you mean we shouldn’t criticize a senator?
I like to think of myself as being generally objective and able to see through the BS and make up my own mind. I like McCain, I really do. On a national level, I cant think of another Republican I like more. I was a supporter of his in 2000. He is otherwise a good man. But unfortunatly, right now in 2008 he is well past his prime, he is up against a once in a generation candidate and he has compromised his maverick style in an attempt to attract right wing zealots. His continuation of several key Bush policies is what will be his downfall though.Bunz, that was so refreshing to read. Nothing, if you read my post, I said I generally dont care what is said at church, it isnt my thing. In the summer I am working Sunday mornings, in the winter I am watching football or hockey Sunday mornings. I dont need to show up somewhere to connect with a greater power and to form my moral character. I can handle that on my own. What my issue was, is how Obama handled it, but really not even so much him, because he did what he had to. What I strongly condemn is the actions of Rev. Wright after his long ago single speech came out. Rev. Wright had an opportunity twice in front of national TV to show the American people he was a more reasonable person than he appears to be in the clip. He could have secured the nomination for Obama 2 months ago and gave him a boost that would make it very difficult for McCain to catch.aaaaaggggghhhhhh.........No Bunz......His church!!!??? This guy is running for President of the USA....what the bleedin hell has his church got to do with it!!
I dont disagree one bit. Well put.You guys have a very simple choice in the next five months! It has nothing to do with the idiots, friends or mad relations these two have or indeed may still have stashed in cupboards. Everyone has an aquaintence that sits dribbling in a corner with drool on his chin and a beer in his hand but that doesn't mean that you listen to them!! Obama is no different, jeeez I was dragged into church once and found them all as mad as snakes - and apparently they were the normal ones!!
I would agree, Obama has more or less written him off. I dont think you will see or hear of much further contact. These two candidates are going to be surrounded by advisers, consultants, pollsters infact legions of specialists, thus a mad preacher from Obama's past no matter how close he may think he is to Obama is not going to have a chance at getting near him...."Thank you for your call Sir...leave your message, name and number and we'll get back to you....in 8 years!"
Again, I dont disagree, and the various ties that McCain has are either not well known or apart of the free pass McCain gets in the media often, especially when it concerns his military action. When in fact, McCain was the spoiled military brat who was given everything he had on a silver platter, except for him time in the Hanoi Hilton. His appointment to USNA was a joke and nothing but nepetism. His placement as a pilot was a joke and his grades did not merit it, but when Daddy is the Admiral, and then in his post POW military years he was assigned any post he more or less wanted, because he got shot town and his daddy was an Admiral.I'm sure their are all sorts of cranks, weirdos, nutters and even the odd mad crossdressing mooooslim mullah that Obama has known or see in his past but don't think that these guys are going to have any influence....the party will not let that happen. Obama and McCain are hemetically sealed off these raves from the grave.
Well put!...that's what the elections all about! Just make sure your chads don't hang out!!
