Yeah, don't get this.
....nobody will until all the cards are played and the game is finished mate, anything else is speculation and agenda driven. The building sector is full of eastern europeans as is the hospitality sector as is the custodial sector etc etc. all of whom don't know the outcome so are we going to see millions heading back over the channel. No.

Ok but tech ? Do they think companies won't buy their stuff just because they work in the UK ?
I know people can be petty but like this ?

I don't think Brexit will have any real effect at all to be honest mate! Few people having jitters but hey such is life - the FTSE is going up so far so good
I have to agree. Kinda thought people would have rolled their eyes and moved on after those doom and gloom pundits got shown up.

These findings were drawn from a survey of 2,111 supply chain managers from across the globe who were asked on their views and reactions towards Brexit. The survey comprised of 12 questions and ran from 31 March to 18 April 2017. The survey included 904 UK businesses with European supply chains and 117 European businesses with UK supply chains.
and 68% of 904 uk suppliers weren't.

How are UK supply chain mangers preparing for Brexit?
Already mapping the potential costs of new tariffs 28% - good
Strengthening our relationship with existing European suppliers 23% - excellent
Performing a risk analysis exercise 44% - good
Looking for alternative suppliers outside of the EU 21% - good
Looking for alternative suppliers inside the UK 32%- good
Pre-emptively increasing costs 12% - and consumers can look at alternatives if they find cheaper price structures from alternative suppliers!
We have not done any work to prepare 23% - sounds a bit worrying for a commercial enterprise?

Isn't this what companies do on a regular basis? I would imagine that any company that does not do market research is heading for a few problems.

Hi Walt, these 1oos of jobs there are spread over the various EU member states i.e. all member countries have people employed there, the total number of british employees are 50 including cleaners - for example France has 112.

So what? It is still good jobs providing good salaries to people LIVING and SPENDING that money in the UK currently. . .including all the support for those jobs (i.e., taxi rides, company car rentals, hotels, apartments and housing, restaurants. . .). All these "support" needs are also moving out of the UK!

Why do you think the housing market in London has gone down so much over the last year?

I know you were over in London recently did you look around? I mean did you see the construction going on?
Did you go into the square mile - from my office here I can see two new towers going up within 100M of each other both to be over 40 stories?
Have you been out into the country, visited some of the towns and see the building that is eating up the countryside?
Did you drive (??) on any of the motorways or main roads - did you notice the amount of traffic even on the side roads? I'm used to driving (??) in the South East and was in Wales a few months ago and just couldn't understand where all the cars had gone!
In the UK budget yesterday the UK government has had to pledge to build 300,000 NEW homes PER YEAR as there is a massive housing crisis here.... people can't afford them!
We have a massive over-population crisis in the UK.
We have had between 300,000 to 400,000 net immigrants per year for what... at least the last 10 years... and its not stopping.

Why do you think the housing market in London has gone down so much over the last year?
..m'kay...If the UK was set to lose 2-3 million then that would be great. A few thousand is of no interest.
Do you follow UK house prices.... London... South East... Midlands.... Wales... Sunderland... Keswick
For the price of a detached family house in Dulwich you can probably buy a village in Wales but you couldn't buy a shack in Mayfair.
The folk that got burned out of the Grenfel tower in summer.... there are still people that are housed in hotels.... no homes for them!
Do you want to travel 40 miles to and from work everyday on gridlocked roads?
Lets compare apples with apples for a second France has a population of 66M same roughly as the UK. Population density of France is 99/Kmsq - UK 251/Kmsq where would you rather live?

I guess to answer your point I'm not remotely interested in the short term effects of a few EU bureaucrats relocating away from the UK.
The Europeans and their political perspective of the UK leaving the EU likewise does not interest me in the slightest.
The UK politcal perspectives of what the chattering classes think of Brexit again I couldn't give a fart for them.
In short Brexit is not interesting to me other than the fact that we are leaving the bureaucratic fiasco which it has become.... we won't be the only ones either. I will bet you that within 5 years of our final "divorce" there will be other countries seriously considering it to.
