Its probably not a joke, even if they think it is.

History tells us that when its experimental and new the government pays for it, but once it is a proven money maker the big players take it over and start their looting of the common man.

How much is your cable bill each month for those satellite images from satellites? Space travel wasn't paid for by Dish Network, but they sure jumped on board when they saw the money tree.
