    There's a film clip on the http://reckonthat.org forum page entitled "Congress Explained" (http://reckonthat.org/forum/discussion-1/congress-explained/). Portrayed in satirical fashion, it shows the days per year that Congress is in session. I know that Congress is not in session a lot of the time, but the video really opened my eyes to the reality. Of course, one can see this as not necessarily a bad thing :). If their salary (which they recently voted to increase) and fringe benefits were calculated on an hourly basis it would amount to quite an hourly wage.
