It is starting to look like President Barack Obama, aided and abetted by former Vice President Al Gore, Sens. Barbara Boxer, and John F. Kerry and others, may have lied this nation into a war against man-made global warming.

The problem is man-made global warming doesn't exist and never has!

This isn't a science issue when we have the Copenhagen meeting just days away. The signing of that agreement allows a World Court to have jurisdiction over our sovereign rights. I think that qualifies as a political commentary.

As for the idea of global warming...it means the entire planet is warming, but the reality is that isn't the case. Case in point: over the past 100 years NYC has gone up in temperature but just to its north, in West Point, the temps have been almost neutral. Even more interesting is that in Albany, NY (only 160 miles north) the temps have gone down. Also, the most southern weather station in Chile has also had a significant drop in temp over the past 100 years.

Is their regional warming? Yes, but that may be caused by a shift in the magnetic poles, solar flares, or just cyclical trends. One last thought, if water shrinks in volume when it melts then how will melting the North Pole (one big iceberg) raise the water level? Maybe Al Gore should have studied harder in 5th Grade Science.

Isn't that what many liberals do? They will surrender to a real threat, but they can beat an imaginary one. Of course, to beat man-made global warming they intend to impose a totalitarian Marxist system where the elites can impose their will on the unwashed masses.
