Smashing a glass to steal something from a display case is not an uncommon crime, but on Wednesday a would-be jewelry thief did it with bullets.
Police arrested a man they said fired at least six rounds into the front windows of Mindbender Jewelry store located inside the Hollywood Plaza shopping center and about a block away from the police station.
The man managed to grab a fistful of diamonds that employees had just placed on display.
Store owner Carlos Noriega, who was not at the store at the time, said two of his employees chased the man along with an officer who was in the shopping center.

Hollywood still doesnt get it dont they? They supported Jerry Brown and other liberals into their state. They support more schools and more social services they leads to higher taxes. They support abortion and anti death penalty. And they dont like the LAPD! Now Hollywood isnt safe. Who knows whats next maybe another Jared Loughner would walk into a movie studio and pop 8 stars dead.And then i gurantee you theyre start thinking Ronald Reagan was right after all.
