In an abrupt and unexpected turn about, Hillary Clinton, citing the need to put the party ahead of her own ambition, has dropped out of the presidential race.

"Romney already sacrificed his personal ambitions for his party," she told reporters, "and I can do no less for mine."

Wow! I wasn't expecting that, were you?

As many know, I am not a Hillary fan, but I did get a kick out of her suggestion of a bowl-off with Obama. Her gutter comment was a bit low, but this is Clinton politics.

As a side note, even though I am an Obama supporter, I say let her stay in as long as she wants and the suggestions otherwise I think are a bit to early.
