That's exactly what I said, isn't it? the prevalence of English in the world is largely due to the British Empire.

Oh, I think there was plenty of both envy and hatred before GWB ever even thought of running for pres, probably before he even got clean and sober enough to think of running for anything. Having invaded Iraq didn't help, however.

Having a black president with a Muslim middle name seems to be helping our image, whether there is any substantial change in our actual foreign policy or not.

While the French had a sense of shared purpose with us in the Revolutionary war they were hardly our pals and neither was the rest of Europe. We have always been at the very least looked down upon and generally despised.

True, there is a lot of concern with our tight relationship to the Saudis and we have flip/flop around about the Palestine Liberation Army issue for years.

Having a bi-racial president period has made us look brighter/more human rights centered/and will open many more closed minded doors then any one thing else that we could have gone out and done on PURPOSE! IMO

If it would mean that Dear Sarah Barracuda would run...I'd even take Newsmax.com up on their insistent offer and subscribe and get her IDIOT BOOK FOR FREE...but since she's such a QUITTER, I would need some type of guarantee that shes capable of fulfilling some type of commitment ;)

Can you imagine the debates...standing room only and the locations could sell tickets. Who wouldn't pay to see her and all of her quicky/little one liners that have no base of any factual information but sure sound so PERKY :rolleyes:
