We still have a lot of racists and homophobes in this country. The MSM and the GOP would have us believe otherwise, but you saw the signs...at ALL the teabagger gatherings.

All we can do is put up with them. Limit their damage to a minimum. They're not only overwhelmingly white, but they're predominantly old. They'll be dying off and taking their hatred with them.

I'm not acquainted with anyone except Republicans who hate 85% of the population. Sometimes I think they hate each other.

Good point, Popeye, it comforts me to speak to University classes and have a chance to listen to educated, open-minded, thoughtful, and socially egalitarian students. It's rare that I meet anyone with a hate-based agenda and when I do they have--so far--all been religiously-motivated.

How you define hate is based on how you define love. How do liberal democrats define love? Let's see.... Abortion is love. 70% illegitimacy rates for blacks is love. Almost total unemployment for young black men is love. Public schools I wouldn't send my dog to is love. Sex is love (libs have an insatiable fascination with sex acts). Permanently and pervasively broken families is love. Never-ending poverty and never-ending drug abuse is love. Destroying business is love. Keeping the loyal base in their place is love. Assuaging guilt with other people's money is love.

All of these ills are the direct result of liberal policies, and Detroit is the signature city of how democrats love. I bet I can list many more. Any hell-holes like Detroit run by republicans you'd like to ID for us?

Uh, you must have had your eyes and ears closed. Conservatives despised many of Bush's policies and stated so. So much so that the Republicans lost their majority in 2006 due to conservatives staying home. Bush destroyed the Republican party. Now Obama and Nancy are doing the same to the Democrat party. Yeah, the American people wanted change. What they got was socialism. Unfortunately for the Dems, this was, and still is, a center-right country. 2010 will likely prove that. We'll see won't we?

Beside being rude, crude and violent, Republicans are also ill informed and irrational. A dangerous combination. Taxes on the middle class are lower now than when Obama took office. No one is stealing your money.

Republicans will certainly not be taking all the money with them when they die. The richest men in America are Democrats (Buffet and Gates) and they don't feel anyone is stealing their money. It's only the wannabe's that cry all the time about the government taking their money.
