They have one man to blame — Bill Clinton.

Rumors have it that Donald Trump had no intention of running for president but that changed when Bill Clinton called him and encouraged him to run. Clinton may have thought they'd use Trump to tear the GOP apart but what he never could predict was that Trump would end up being the party's presidential candidate. Slick, huh?

I can't see that Clinton would have done something so foolhardy. Trump has always wanted power, and he does things for kicks, and his team have said he just wanted to be able to say he could run for President with his limited knowledge and big budget. He's done that, and I see him as bored and he wanted something else to do.

Populist candidates can split the vote. For instance, Ross Perot caused trouble for George Bush Sr. in 1992 and cost him the election to Bill Clinton. Of course, the other populists, Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan, could never get enough votes to be a credible adversaries.

Because right now his wife is positioned to win all the red states and all the swing states all because of Trump's mouth.

Not only that, but there is a strong chance the DEMs will also win back the Senate.
