"Income Inequality" is a farce! Like most every Democrat buzz-term, it's meaningless when applied as a universal concept. Typical of the Democrat left, they apply the term to an entire nation, rather than to individuals.
For example, consider a CEO earning 100 million dollars per-year. Perhaps that CEO led a company with 30,000 employees from yearly losses of 50 million dollars to profits of 500 million dollars. Is he/she being overpaid versus an employee who makes 30 thousand dollars a year, works 40 hours/week, and takes 30 sick days every year??? Any CEO or mid-level manager worth a damn pays employees what they're worth. To do otherwise is bad management. The bottom line is that some employees aren't worth what they're paid, including some CEO's!
Unions are a prime example of "income inequality". ALL union members with the same job description receive the same pay. Although those workers are equal in income, they are often NOT equal in skill nor experience. Using another leftist Democrat term, "Fair", is it fair for a less capable and less hard-working employee to earn the same as a far superior employee simply because a job description says they're "equal". THAT is definitely "income inequality"!!
Leftist Democrats are simple-minded stooges who can't handle anything more complex than buzz terms that sound nice to them.
