The headlines we saw under the Bush administration are FAR different from those we see under Obama. Imagine if McCain had won what the headlines would read... Feel free to play along!

Find a headline in the news, post it with a link, then write a similar headline you think would be seen if McCain were Pres:

Job Losses Dampen Hopes for Recovery

Under McCain: "No end in sight, economy continues to fail"

    U.S. regulators close seven banks

Under McCain: "McCain economic policies crushing private sector banks"

U.S. Soldier May Be Held by Taliban, Military Fears

Under McCain: "U.S. Soldier tortured as payback for gitmo"

US missiles hit Taliban commander's hideout

Under McCain: "Afghanistan: Civilians bombed, still no exit strategy"

    Iran's Ahmadinejad faces diplomatic isolation

Under McCain: "McCain still pushing for war with Iran"

Biden in Baghdad On Surprise Visit

Under McCain: "Palin's unnecessary visit to Baghdad cost taxpayers millions"

    The people's republic of Eugene
You called that one right. There are others too

The two different ways they covered the inaugurations

Bush wastes 40 million in time of war

Obama spends over 100 million to be sure everyone has a wonderful time it’s the people’s inauguration!

When President Bush played Golf, it was cold and snobbish

Apparently obama plays golf to keep in touch with the regular folk. I guess the reporter could not get past obama’s steel abs to be able to follow up on that stupid reply.

There is a hundred more like that. The media is bought and paid for and the people are dumb sheep who think as they are told to think.

    It’s rather sad.

    I like your thread Gen
