The latest newsletter by an Inland Republican women's group depicts Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama surrounded by a watermelon, ribs and a bucket of fried chicken, prompting outrage in political circles.

The October newsletter by the Chaffey Community Republican Women, Federated says if Obama is elected his image will appear on food stamps -- instead of dollar bills like other presidents. The statement is followed by an illustration of "Obama Bucks" -- a phony $10 bill featuring Obama's face on a donkey's body, labeled "United States Food Stamps."

KFC has a white old man on the sign, I know people of all races that like fried chicken
Ribs I think of as southern but no color, just country. and water mellon? thats like summer 4th of July what is ethnic about any of those things?

I know they are and who ever made the bill should not have done it but why do those things make anyone think of someone who is black?

BTW, the one I have, was given to me by an OBAMA SUPPORTER! He was at least willing to admit that it was mildly amusing (I guess there is some hope for him after all).

Good for you, Popeye. You've proven that liberals can make mountains out of molehills and engage in outrageous generalizations just as conservatives do all of the time.

That ad, BTW, is offensive, but hardly reflects the thought of the Republican party. If it did, then McCain could totally write off the election instead of simply being a long shot.

If you somehow can say no then this is what I want you to do for me. Since it's not racially offensive.

First: Print off a bunch of those Fried Chicken/Watermelon/Black guy fake Food Stamps.

Secondly: Get into your car and drive to whatever area of your town has the largest Black population.

Third: Go around handing them out to people on the street laughing saying... ain't these a riot!

That will work out well because there will be no "Forth" and we'll never hear from you again.

I guess you are assuming that all black people are criminals and would kill her right? I guess the same can be said if you drive around a white area and yell anti-white slurs you will be killed. I doubt either happens.

I guess I would say an opinion such as the one you put forth is pretty racist.
