    btw, i have been early backer of looking southwest for electoral votes---dumping the heavy emphasis on the southern strategy of the bigots like nixon and wallace and all those yellow dog dems who went gop over the civil rights legislation of the 60s

    the politics of the electoral college are rarely understood. we have 2000 to thank for more interest, but interest alone does not equate knowledge
